One of our newest and most exciting spaces, the glorious Busworks was once a Victorian bus factory and timber yard. Just a moment’s walk from Caledonian Road tube station, its bright and open warehouse, light industrial, studio and office spaces are bathed in natural light and have a chic, industrial feel, complete with original brick buildings and cobbled courtyard. The prime North London location is just one stop away from Kings Cross and is also home to The Pleasance Theatre, a world-famous 200-seat fringe theatre where acts like The Mighty Boosh honed their craft. So don’t be surprised if you see a comedy legend on your way to work.

The Depot Bar & Kitchen is Busworks’ own heavenly cafe, but there are also some brilliant dining options in the neighbourhood. Award-winning sourdough bakery Bread By Bike offers coffee, cake and exemplary baked goods, as well as fresh juices, an all-day brunch and lunch specials like French onion soup with toasted cheese-topped baguettes. The cosy Sunday Cafe has its own home-cooked treats, with a rotating menu that includes such delights as smoked haddock rarebit with bacon, poached egg and artichoke chips. Open since 1981, Salvino is a deli with a difference; find niche Italian nibbles and freshly made paninos stacked with salami and fontina cheese in one of the friendliest shops around. Vegans are in for a treat at Indian restaurant Healthy Wealthy, with decadent, plant-based thalis stacked full of different curries, chutneys and poppadoms. Half Cut Market on York Way is the coolest convenience store in town, selling foodie snacks and supplies as well as hosting regular kitchen takeovers by London’s hippest chefs, restaurants and supper clubs.

This centre is located between Caledonian Road and York Way, to the north of King's Cross station, and outside the Congestion Charge zone. The area is of mixed residential and commercial uses, with parks and public gardens within easy reach. Both underground and rail links are easily accessible, with Caledonian Road (Piccadilly Line) and Barnesbury stations within a few minutes' walk. Places of interest in the area include The Pleasance Theatre, and Camden Town is not far away. There are various places to eat and drink nearby, as well as the plethora of amenities in Central London.

After work there are plenty of places to wind down. Half Cut Market will sort you out with natural wine and a place to drink it or there’s The Lord Stanley, a gorgeous, traditional pub with a gastro menu and great pizza. The Hemingford Arms is even more spectacular. Off the beaten track and full of character, a blooming floral entrance gives way to a unique space full of history. If the idea of a taproom with a twist appeal, then check out Two Tribes Brewery’s Campfire London, with open-fire cooking and impressive selection of craft ales.
