A project inspired by a love of hosting and community. The centre name meant of “workbench” and “a place to live” in Norwegian, embodying dream to support and nurture passion and potential in people by creating a space that is inclusive and diverse. A place in London where clients can feel at home and welcomed no matter where members are from. Spread across three floors of Brutalist architecture in Spitalfields, the centre offer workspaces, a yoga studio, meeting rooms and piano practice room, as well as facilities for events, shoots and press launches. Our on-site kitchen provides the space cafe with delicious plant-based lunches and treats, as well as catering for in-house and external events. The space signature palette contains muted hues and deep charcoals, in a nod to founder Mariell’s Scandinavian roots. Furthermore, smaller meeting room / private office space for up to 3 people (socially distanced) and larger team space / meeting / office space for up to 14 people on desks (socially distanced). This space also contains a breakout area with exclusive use. The centre committed to sustainable choices and use 100% renewable electricity throughout the building. Within the first two years of the workspace, the family is growing steadily into a solid team of inspiring people. Each one of them making their mark on the business as it evolves and slowly grows into something that is shaped by collaboration, gut feelings, hard work, good vibes and finding the living/working balance together. The space is an independent small business where focus on sustainable choices, details and quality is highly prioritised.

The business centre is a stone’s throw from Spitalfields, in the heart of the City of London. The space has great transport links, with proximity to Liverpool Street and Aldgate stations, plus nearby parking is available from £15 per day. There are lounges and breakout areas where you can take a break during a hectic workday. There are two-way access to reach this place which is by car or public transport as such as taxi, train and bus. A few meters from several shopping centers with various entertainment amenities.
