Fitzrovia, London, W1T 3QE
From £500/mo

The centre is a boutique co-working space based just off Oxford Street, near Oxford Circus. Situated in the heart of Fitzrovia, the space is eponymous to its past. First built as a school adjoining a church in 1889, and used as a haberdashery and then a photography studio, the space was leased and completely modernised by GT:Spaces in 2018. The space has been repurposed into a functional and modern office, and importantly retains its original character. The magnificent arched hall braced by eye-catching trusses and bundles of light from large rectangular windows were just some of the features embodied in this Victorian masterpiece. The height of the room provides the space with a wonderful airiness, and a sense of calm. Situated on the third floor, the space consists of over 33x desks, a large boardroom, a small meeting room, two soft seating areas, a kitchen, and an outside balcony. The design of the space has focused on providing physical and mental wellbeing, ergonomic, and environmentally sustainable solutions for the workplace. All energy consumption is through a green energy supplier. The desks are made from reclaimed scaffold boards. The chairs are ergonomic Herman Miller Sayl chairs. With a long term leased signed, the space is pleased to contribute further to the story of this wonderful space. The centre is so named as a tribute to the former photographer, Ian O’Leary, who occupied it. It was a name he used to go by.

Fitzrovia is a diverse residential area where grand 18th- and 19th-century apartment buildings sit side by side with social housing. Handy for the West End theatres, it is filled with hotels, galleries, and old-school pubs. Charlotte Street is lined with lively bistros and cafes, and the surrounding streets are home to new media, advertising, and architectural companies. The lofty BT Tower is an iconic city landmark. There are two-way access to reach this place which is by car or public transport as such as taxi, train and bus. Fantastic transport links are available due to the central location of this space.
